Seward Freedom Run - 2026
The Seward Freedom Run - 2026 takes place in Seward, Nebraska on July 4, 2026. The event is based at the Seward Wellness Center, 2764 Eaton Drummer Blvd, Seward, NE 68434. Walkers are welcome, restrooms are available, and a post race fruit bar is provided. Timing is done with MyLaps BibTag Technology by Precision Race Results of Omaha.

The course starts and finishes at the north end of the Seward Wellness Center parking lot. Runners head west to the entry boulevard, turn south toward Waverly Road, then run east on Waverly Road to Karol Kay Boulevard. The route proceeds south on Karol Kay Boulevard along the wide sidewalk to the Plum Creek Trail. Participants follow the Plum Creek Trail to the designated turnaround for each race and then return along the same route to the Wellness Center finish.
Top three finishers in each male and female category receive medals. Cash prizes are listed for top finishers in the 10K and 2 mile races. Age classes for male and female participants include: 10 and under, 11-13, 14-18, 19-23, 24-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
Registration fees vary by registration window and include processing charges. Registrations completed after June 15 do not include a shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
