Seven Sisters Skyline
Seven Sisters Skyline is a mountain running event held on the Seven Sisters ridge in the Derryveagh Mountains. The event typically welcomes 500 runners and forms part of the Skyrunning UK & Ireland Series. The route has featured in the World Mountain Running World Cup and includes very rugged terrain with razor‑sharp ridges, steep climbs, rocky summits, and technical descents. Elevation gain reaches 4,000m or more on the longest route.

The 55km course summits six peaks on the outward leg: Mackoght (555m), Aghla Mór (584m), Aghla Bheag South (602m), Aghla Bheag North (564m), Leargacha (470m), and Muckish (666m). The 55km and 30km races are UTMB Index events, allowing participants to earn points toward UTMB World Series qualification. Prize information includes a combined prize purse of €10,000 for the 55km and 30km events, cash prizes for the top five male and female finishers, and a €7,500 prize pool associated with the national skyrunning championships held on the 55km route.
