25th Annual Second Wind Fund Walk/Run
The Second Wind Fund Walk/Run is a community fundraising event on September 20, 2026, at Clement Park in Littleton, Colorado, marking the event's 25th year. The event supports youth suicide prevention by raising funds to expand timely access to mental health care for young people across Colorado.
Second Wind Fund focuses on removing financial and social barriers so youth at risk for suicide can connect with mental health providers and receive timely support. The event brings together families, community partners, advocates, and supporters for a day of connection, remembrance, celebration, and family-friendly activities. The program includes a formal SWF program and a dove release.
Participation options include:
- 5K Run or Walk
- 1 Mile Walk
- Support from Home / Virtual participation
Some registration types include a custom event shirt; children age 6 and under may register free without a shirt. Fundraising is a core element of the event, with a fundraising goal of $40,000 and recognition planned for top fundraising teams and individual fundraisers. Race awards will recognize the top three finishers in male, female, and nonbinary categories. Additional team challenges and recognition awards are announced closer to the event. The event also offers participant prizes and Second Wind Fund swag for top fundraisers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
