SeaWorld Run | The Walrus Series
SeaWorld Run | The Walrus Series is an event held inside SeaWorld Yas Island in Abu Dhabi that uses a 2.5 km looped course through the park's different realms. The route passes exhibition areas such as One Ocean, Arctic, Rocky Point, Micro-Ocean, Endless Ocean and Tropical Ocean. The course layout requires multiple laps to complete the event distances.
Race pack collection is available at the SeaWorld reception area on the days before the event and on event day; t-shirts are subject to availability. Participants who enter multiple contests receive only one t-shirt and one medal. A bag drop is provided near the start and finish area and is used at the participant's own risk.
Water is available at two self-service stations on course; staff will restock but runners should avoid littering or spilling water to prevent slippery surfaces. Parking is available at SeaWorld Yas Island and participants should follow venue signage and marshal directions on arrival.
Finishers will hear an announcement at the line, see their time as they cross, and can collect a finishers' medal and access an online certificate. Podium medals for first to third places in each age group will be awarded at the designated podium area at Naham Theatre. Age groups are defined separately for each distance and are split by sex.
