Scotland's Washed Out Bridge Endurance Challenge
The town of Scotland, Connecticut will hold an evening endurance challenge at 47 Brook R, Scotland CT 06264. The event uses an out and back course that reaches a temporary one lane bridge and returns to the start.
Participants have two hours to run from the starting point toward the temporary bridge and back as many times as they can. Each full out and back equals one mile and runners must complete at least one loop. Neon jelly bracelets will be provided for loop counting. No runner may re-enter the course during the final ten minutes of the event.
Because the event takes place in the evening, participants are encouraged to wear neon clothing or accessories. A personal light such as a handheld light, headlamp, or illuminated vest is required during the darker portion of the event.
