About the race
The Schweizer Frauenlauf Bern is scheduled for 13 June 2027 and will be held in the city of Bern along the Aare. The 41st edition is presented as a large Swiss mass-sport event for women with reported participation figures of up to 15,000 runners and up to 30,000 spectators. The event offers several distance and category options across age groups, including short children’s races and adult distances.

- 1.6 km Girls Meile / Teens Meile / Coop Family Run
- 3 km Easy Walk
- 5 km Running or (Nordic) Walking

Categories are divided by year of birth for youth classes (U10 to U18) and by adult and girls classifications for the main distances. Pricing is tiered with early-bird, regular and last-minute rates. School classes receive 25% discount; groups of 15 or more receive 10% discount. There is a free start option for people in financial need with residence in the Canton of Bern via a collaboration with Winterhilfe. A sweep vehicle (besenwagen) determines the race end and participants behind it continue at their own responsibility; some categories use alphabetical finisher lists rather than ranking.
