Schwarzenberger Edelweißlauf

The Schwarzenberg Edelweiß Run is an annual running competition designed for the whole family. The event offers various distances, including a 500 m Bambini round, a 2.5 km fun run, a 5 km fitness run, a 10 km active run, and a 5 km walking/Nordic walking run. All distances are part of the West Saxony Running Cup.

The start and finish area is centrally located in the market square of Schwarzenberg, and the route passes through the historic old town and suburbs, including a 102.3 m long former railway tunnel under Schwarzenberg Castle.
