About the race
Scenic Trail is a multi-day trail running event held in Bidogno, Switzerland, scheduled for 11, 12 and 13 June 2027. The event offers a range of marked courses that vary in distance, elevation and technical difficulty, from short community runs to long ultra-trail routes.
Available courses include:
- K120 ULTRA : a long alpine route across Swiss panoramas.
- K83 ENDURANCE : an event that approaches the 100 km mark.
- K54 ORIGINAL TRAIL : a route following the ridges of the Capriasca amphitheater.
- K31 SKYRACE : a technical course reaching high peaks and returning through woods and alpeggi to Tesserete.
- K18 WALK & RUN : a family-oriented course with views over the Lugano area.
- K6 CHARITY RUN : a short, easy course whose proceeds are donated to research on rare childhood diseases.
- K4 VERTICAL : a short but steep ascent finishing at the Motto della Croce.
- KIDS RACE : free participation for children, with three courses for three age categories.
Registration is open and will close definitively on 31 May 2027 or when places are full. The event is organised by Associazione Scenic Trail and provides online race maps, regulations and a race manual for participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
