Savills Sandymount Night Run – March Edition
The event is an evening coastal running event in Dublin Bay that uses Sean Moore Park and Sandymount Strand. It offers measured courses with chip timing and a looped route in which 5K runners complete one lap and 10K runners complete two laps. A section of the route runs on sand along the beach.
Participants receive a finisher’s medal and an event running t-shirt. Finish-line refreshments and post-race goodies are provided. The event operates wave starts separated by target paces, including designated waves for faster 5K and 10K runners and for all other participants. The course is fully marshalled and has a strict cut-off time of 1 hour 45 minutes.
Practical arrangements include a bag drop beside the start/finish area (open from 5:30pm) and toilets at the start/finish. Parking along the seafront is limited and public transport is strongly advised; there is no event parking at Clanna Gael GAA club. Water provision: the 10K course has a water station around 5.5 km, while 5K runners receive refreshments at the finish; cups are paper and should be disposed of in bins in Sean Moore Park.
Entry administration notes: race numbers are posted in advance when possible or available for collection, refunds are not offered, entries can usually be transferred before numbers are allocated, and finishers must collect medals in person.
