Saturn Running - Scare Bear Run

Saturn Running's Scare Bear Run 2025 takes place in Staines at The Last Hop, Thames Edge, Clarence Street, along the River Thames. On 25 October 2025, it offers a 7-hour Time Challenge with a minimum 3 km lap and a full lap of about 7 km (4.37 miles), adjustable for conditions. Runners may complete as many laps as desired, within UK Athletics distance rules: 3 laps = half marathon, 6 = marathon, 7+ = ultra, plus a 50 km option.

The mostly paved, signed riverside course has a short grass section; road shoes are suitable. Medals are Scare Bear-themed with distance pins and goody bags, including vegan options, plus an aid table, toilets, and parking. Members get cheaper, guaranteed entry and a mini-medal pin.
