About the race
The Saturn 7 Hour Time Challenge, known as the Great British Bake Run 2025, takes place in Staines along a scenic stretch of the River Thames. Participants run laps of a mostly flat, well-surfaced course featuring paths and tarmac, with a short grass section. The lap distance is approximately 4.37 miles (7km), with options for shorter turns to accommodate younger runners.
Runners can cover any distance within 7 hours, from a minimum of 3km up to ultra distances, with medals awarded for completing at least 3km.
