About the race
The Saturn 7 Hour Time Challenge, known as "Will Run for Ice Cream 2025," takes place in Staines along a scenic stretch of the River Thames. Participants can run or walk laps of a 4.37-mile (7km) course, with options to complete distances from 5km up to ultra-marathon lengths within the 7-hour limit. The mostly flat, well-surfaced route is fully marked and suitable for road shoes.
The event is inclusive, welcoming all abilities and ages 12 and up. Finishers receive ice cream-themed medals, goody bags (including vegan options), and distance pins for half-marathon and longer achievements. Aid stations offer a variety of snacks and drinks, including ice cream.
