SARR Women's Run
The SARR Women's Run is an annual athletic event held in San Antonio, Texas. Organized by the San Antonio RoadRunners, the event celebrates its 47th edition in 2026. The race is designed for women of all ages and centers on fitness and community. All activities, including pre-race and post-race events, take place at the Alamo Heights United Methodist Church.
Participants can choose from several distances and categories:
- 10K: A running race that follows the 5K course route twice.
- 5K: A standard running event on a single loop course.
- 5K Walk: A category strictly for walking. Participants observed running in this category are subject to disqualification.
- Girl Power Run: A 500m (quarter-mile) run for younger participants.
- Virtual 10K and 5K: Options for those unable to attend in person, allowing participants to complete their distance at any location.
The event premises at the church maintain specific rules, including a prohibition on alcohol, tailgating, and ice chests. Registered participants receive a race shirt and a finisher's medal. For the youth event, shirts are provided in youth sizes while supplies last. Awards are presented on the day of the race and must be collected in person or by a representative at the venue.
Registration discounts are available for San Antonio RoadRunners members, participants aged 24 or younger, and those aged 70 or older if registered by the specified deadline. Social teams of ten or more people also qualify for a group discount. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
