Event overview
The SARR Women's Run takes place on Saturday, July 18, 2026 in San Antonio, TX. The San Antonio RoadRunners organize in-person and virtual options. In-person events are held at Alamo Heights United Methodist Church, 825 E Basse Rd, San Antonio 78209. Distances offered include:
- 10K
- 5K
- 5K Walk
- Girl Power Run (1/4 mile, open to ages 1-10)
- Virtual 10K
- Virtual 5K or Walk
The 10K follows the 5K route twice. All participants receive a finisher's medal. Girl Power Run participants receive the same shirt as the women's event in youth sizing, while supplies last.
Logistics and rules
Pre- and post-race activities take place at the church. Alcohol, tailgating, and ice chests are not allowed on the church premises. Race day packet pickup is at the church on July 18 (6:00 to 7:30 AM). Awards must be picked up on race day; participants should check results before leaving or have someone pick up awards for them. The 5K Walk category requires walking only; registered walkers seen running may be disqualified.
Registration prices increase after June 14, 2026. SARR members receive a 25% discount on the 10K and 5K with online registration through June 14, 2026. Runners age 24 or younger and age 70 or older receive a 50% discount on the 5K with online registration through June 14, 2026. Social team discounts apply when a team reaches 10 people.
