About the race
The Santa Hustle Glendale is a holiday-themed running event taking place at the Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale, Arizona. The event features several race distances to accommodate different participants:
- Half Marathon
- 10 km
- 5 km
- Kids Dash (1 km run for children up to age 12)
The race is officially timed using RFID technology, with timing chips attached to the back of each participant's bib. Results are tracked live, and awards are presented to the top three overall male and female winners, the top three masters (ages 40+), and the first-place male and female finishers in various age categories ranging from 10 and under to 70+.
Participants receive a long-sleeve performance shirt, a beanie, and a finisher medal. Kids Dash participants receive a long-sleeve shirt, a Santa hat and beard, and a medal. The course includes multiple water and aid stations, with volunteers stationed throughout the route. At the finish line, cookies, candy, and hot cocoa are provided for participants.
Registration is open to the public with no qualification requirements. A gear check service is available on-site. Parking is located at the Westgate Entertainment District in designated lots. Packet pick-up is available the day before the race at WaterDance Plaza, or on race day for an additional fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
