The Sandy 4th of July 5K is scheduled for July 4, 2026 at Sandy City Promenade, 10200 S. Centennial Parkway. Packet pickup is available on July 2 during office hours at 440 E. 8680 S., Sandy.
Registration includes a race t-shirt. Shirt sizes are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last, and shirts are not guaranteed for late registrations. Standard registration fees are listed per participant with reduced rates for family and group registrations; higher fees apply for late registration and late registration online is not available. Day-of registration is accepted at the race location.
Immediate family members registering two or more people in the same transaction receive a family discount. A group discount is available for organizations and businesses with a minimum of five participants when those participants register together in the same transaction.
The event welcomes participants who walk, jog, run, or race and includes age-based awards. Awards are given to the first three male and female finishers in each age division. There will be a prize drawing after the race for pre-registered participants. For safety, dogs are not allowed on the race course.
Age divisions for the 5K include 5 & under; 6 - 9; 10 - 14; 15 - 19; 20 - 24; 25 - 29; 30 - 34; 35 - 39; 40 - 44; 45 - 49; 50 - 54; 55 - 59; 60 - 64; 65 - 69; 70 - 79; 80 & up. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
