Salt City Mile
The Salt City Mile is an annual running event held in Salt Lake City, Utah. Organized by the Salt Lake City Track Club and the SLC Crit, the race is currently in its seventh year. The event takes place on a closed course shared with the SLC Crit cycling races, providing a spectator-friendly environment for participants.
The competition includes the following distance:
- 1 Mile
The race utilizes professional timing to record results for all participants. Awards and prize money are available for the top three female, male, and non-binary finishers in both the open and masters (ages 40 and over) categories. Younger participants ages 14 and under are eligible for a reduced registration fee.
In addition to the 1 Mile race, the venue hosts other activities throughout the day, including a bike race, live music, and a beer garden.
