Salt and Sulfur 420
Salt and Sulfur 420 is a 420 mile point to point run that starts in Salt Lake City and finishes in West Yellowstone. The course runs mostly on paved roads with about 50 miles on dirt. The event is crewed and involves multi day travel along the route.
The event focuses on sustained personal challenge, connection to nature, and adventure. Descriptions of the route note extended mental demands during the journey; participants may face several days of uncertainty and exhaustion, and endurance of mental stresses becomes a central element of the experience. Entry is selective and not all applicants will be accepted.
