Sage Burner Trail Race
Sage Burner Trail Race is scheduled for October 3, 2026 in Gunnison, Colorado, held at the Hartman Rocks Recreation Area near Black Canyon National Park. The course passes through sage brush and offers 360 degree views of the Maroon Bells, the San Juan Mountains, and the Gunnison Basin.
Terrain includes technical slickrock, smooth singletrack, and doubletrack. The course features rolling hills and punchy climbs in a high desert climate, and is described as deceptively demanding for runners.
