Sage Burner Trail Race - Gunnison, CO
Sage Burner Trail Race is held at Hartman Rocks Recreation Area in Gunnison, Colorado, near Black Canyon National Park. The site offers broad views of the Maroon Bells, the San Juan Mountains, and the Gunnison Basin, and is described as being roughly two hours east of Grand Junction and three hours west of Denver.
The course covers a mix of terrain including technical slickrock, smooth singletrack, and doubletrack. Runners encounter rolling hills and punchy climbs set in a high desert climate, creating varied footing and changing exposure on the trails.
