About the race
The SachsenTrail is a trailrunning event at the Trailcenter Rabenberg in the Erzgebirge with start and finish at Sportpark Rabenberg in Breitenbrunn (08359). The event uses singletrack paths that are normally designed for mountain biking and offers narrow trails and steep climbs on a marked network of forest and mountain tracks. The organizer describes varied trail surfaces and a pronounced trail character rather than exposed ridgelines or technical rope sections.
The event weekend includes several competition distances and children's trails, and offers a SuperTrail weekend package that combines races across the days with special recognition for triple finishers. The UpHill Prolog starts at the foot of the Rabenberg and finishes at the Sportpark Rabenberg.

Included services in the entry fee cover a Friday pasta party, on-course and start/finish refreshments, changing and shower facilities, luggage storage, course support and medical first aid, electronic timing, prizes and finisher medals.
