SABR Elimination Mile : English description
The event is an in-person elimination mile held at Central Tech Stadium, 725 Bathurst Street, Toronto ON M5S 2R5. The field is limited to 120 runners arranged in 40 teams of three, with at least one female runner required per team.
All competitors run an opening one mile round with no eliminations and earn points toward overall standings. Subsequent rounds remove runners each lap according to the event format: three runners eliminated per lap in Round 2, two per lap in Round 3, and one per lap in Round 4, leading to a final eight showdown. Runners accumulate points throughout the rounds toward two titles: Individual Champion (male and female categories) and Team Champion based on team points.
The event includes check in, bib collection, a mandatory athlete briefing, and multiple opening-mile heats. After the racing, there is an official after party at The Annex.
