About the race
The RYOBI Family Fun Trail Run/Walk is a trail running event at Prime View Adventure & Leisure in Olifantsfontein, Gauteng. The event offers multiple marked route distances, water tables on all routes, and a finisher medal for all finishers.
Distances offered:
- 2 km
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 15 km
- 21 km
Entries and fees are limited per distance and listed as follows: 2 km 40 entries, 5 km 140 entries, 10 km 120 entries, 15 km 100 entries, 21 km 100 entries. Online entry fees are R100 for most distances; the 2 km was sold out at the time of the listing. There will be no on‑the‑day entries and membership or discount rates for children under 13 years and pensioners do not apply.
All entry fees will be donated to the Endangered Wildlife Fund. Prize awards are offered for the top three male and female finishers in each distance, with a total prize pool and vouchers supplied across distances. The first 300 online entries receive a RYOBI goodie bag and the free t-shirt and goodie bag limit has already been reached. Walking and hiking are permitted on all distances provided participants finish by the 11h00 cut off.
On-site amenities include a restaurant, a chill zone, a RYOBI Tool Experience station, venue entry and parking. Routes are marked and GPX files and route profiles are available through the organiser. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
