Rushmoor Wellesley 5k in Aldershot
The Rushmoor Wellesley 5k takes place on Sunday 11th October 2026 and is organised by Blackwater Valley Runners in partnership with GRNC (Greater Rushmoor Nepali Community). The race starts and finishes near the historic military town of Aldershot, with the finish located in the Athletics Stadium on the Polo Fields.
The course is described as very flat and runs mostly on the Polo Fields and the Basingstoke Canal towpath. The route is fully marked and marshalled, and chip timing is provided.
All finishers receive a bespoke medal that features a different Aldershot landmark on the back each year. Onsite facilities include toilets and free parking. Participants can buy a race t shirt at a subsidised price until four weeks before the event. Affiliated members of England Athletics or the Association of Running Clubs are eligible for a £2 discount on entry.
Entry options vary by inclusion of a t shirt and affiliation status. Standard entry fees listed by the organiser are £16 for a 5k entry and £20 for a 5k entry with t shirt, with reduced rates of £14 and £18 for eligible EA or ARC members.
