13th Annual RunTough
The RunTough event takes place at Saline High School's Hornet Stadium and the surrounding areas. This local event features multiple course options and organized activities to support pediatric brain cancer research. The local race formats include a road race and a fun run on campus.
The available event distances and categories include:
- 5K Road Race
- 1 Mile Fun Run
- 1 Mile Toddler Option
- Virtual 5K (with or without shirt)
- Tot Sprint
The 5K road race follows a route through the Saline High School Campus and the adjacent neighborhood. The 1 Mile Fun Run is an out and back course along Campus Drive. For children aged 5 and under, a Tot Sprint is held on the main football field.
Participants can access a Family Fun Zone at Hornet Stadium, which includes various games and activities. Registered participants for the local and virtual options (with shirt) are eligible to receive an event shirt, with guarantees provided for those registered by specific early September deadlines. Toddler registrations include a specific toddler-sized shirt subject to availability.
Packet pickup is available two days prior to the event at the foundation office in Saline or on the day of the event at the stadium. Dogs are not permitted at the event site. Virtual participants may complete a 5K distance or an activity of their choice at any location. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
