Event details
The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026, in McMinnville, Oregon. It supports the McMinnville Education Foundation and starts and finishes at McMinnville High School’s Wortman Stadium, 615 NE 15th Street, McMinnville, OR 97128. Distances and event types offered include:
- 5K Run or Run/Walk
- Kids Mile Fun Run (open to ages 2 - 12)
- 5K Walk
Participants can select a school affiliation for a chance to win the Golden Shoe Trophy for a Mac 40 school. The Kids Fun Mile will be held on the track. A 5K course map and a MapMyRun route are provided by the organizers.
Logistics and timing
The 5K will be chip timed by Huber Timing; the timing chip is attached to the back of the race bib. Race bibs must be worn on the chest and visible. Registration fees listed by the organizer are $35 online for the 5K, $48 for day-of 5K registration, and $10 for the Kids Mile; the 5K Walk is listed at $35. Some event registrations open in April 2026 according to the event details. Bib pickup, day-of registration, and volunteer opportunities are arranged by the organizers; volunteers are requested for check-in, course monitoring, and aid stations.
