About the race
Runtastic TIMP is a multi-distance running event on June 26, 2027, in American Fork, Utah, with the start area and celebration at Art Dye Park. The event offers a scenic, USATF-certified downhill Half Marathon from Tibble Fork Reservoir into American Fork Canyon, plus shorter distance races that also finish through the Memory Mile where submitted tribute signs line the final mile to honor those affected by cancer. The half marathon shows an elevation drop of 1,691 feet. Race services include chip timing with the timing chip attached to the bib, free race photos, aid stations stocked with Re-Lyte and water, and GU available at two aid stations for Half Marathon and 10K runners.
A bag drop is provided at the Half Marathon and 10K start lines; unclaimed bags are taken to the race office the week following the event. Packet pick-up occurs at the Race Expo the day before the event, with a day-of pickup fee if needed. The event features a pre-dawn Light the Night tribute where participants hold lights in a moment of silence, a sunrise electric guitar rendition of the National Anthem in the canyon, pacers for multiple finish times, and award presentations for overall and age group finishers. A portion of each registration is donated to a local charity supporting cancer research.
