Celebrate Local History through Running
The Runtastic Steel Days Run is a community-centered running event held in American Fork, Utah. This athletic competition is part of the long-standing American Fork Steel Days Celebration, an annual tradition that has been observed by the city for over a century to recognize its history and residents. The event provides an opportunity for individuals to run through the city streets of American Fork.
Participants can choose from three main distances:
- 10K
- 5K
- Kid's Run (1/2 Mile)
The Kid's Run is specifically open to children between the ages of 1 and 12 years old. All registered participants in each category receive a finisher medal, a race shirt, a decal, and a temporary tattoo as part of their entry. Course maps are provided for the specific routes through the city.
The event is organized by Runtastic Events and serves as a historical and community-focused gathering. It aligns with the 80th anniversary of the broader Steel Days city celebration.
