Haunted Salt Lake City
This two-day Halloween-themed running event takes place in Salt Lake City on October 16–17, 2026, with activities at and finishing in Sugar House Park. The program includes multiple race distances and an evening 5K held on the first day; night running vests and lights are highly encouraged for the evening race.
The half marathon features individual and group costume contests held before the race and follows a course that descends a canyon into Salt Lake City, passes through Spook Alley and a graveyard, and ends at Sugar House Park. A morning 5K offers a costume-friendly course, and a short children’s run is available for participants under 12.

- 3.1 miles Haunted at Night 5k (evening)
Registration windows and fees vary by event. Registration for several events opened in late 2025; the Haunted at Night 5k has a separate August 2026 registration window and a listed registration fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
