Runners on Pace 5k

The event is a 5k hosted by the Fort Wayne Running Club and presented by Fort Wayne Orthopedics. It takes place on the sponsor's campus at 7601 W. Jefferson Blvd. in Fort Wayne.

Course

The course is a loop on mostly roads with a straight stretch of paved trail in the final mile. It is described as mainly flat with a short hill near the 2.6-mile mark. The route boundaries the Eagle Marsh Nature Preserve.

Event Features

Participants receive a custom-designed race shirt if registered by a specific date. There is a water stop on the course and post-race refreshments. The awards presentation is held under a canopy. The event has easy access to parking.

Awards

Cash prizes are offered for the top three overall open and masters winners. The top three in each age group receive gift cards. There are also separate youth awards.

Registration and Packet Pickup

Packet pickup is available the day before the race at Fleet Feet Southwest and on race morning at the venue. Late registration is offered at both locations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
