About the race

The RUNFORESTRUN Drents Friese Wold is a trailrun set in the Drents-Friese Wold area on 9 January 2027. The event starts at RCN De Roggeberg in Appelscha and follows clearly marked trails through varied natural terrain.

The course runs along the Kanadameer, over heathland and through the largest contiguous forest area in the Netherlands, including the Aekingerzand. The route includes several hilly sections.
