Run Your Bass Off - Crystal Falls
Run Your Bass Off is the 44th annual running and walking event held at Runkle Lake Park in Crystal Falls, Michigan. The event program includes multiple distances that start and end at the park, and proceeds benefit Iron Endurance, a local non-profit that promotes community health and endurance activities.
Distances:
- 10K
- 5.5K (Half Bass)
- 2 Miles walk
- 1 Mile kids run
Courses feature scenic rolling hills, mile markers, painted arrows, and signage. The 10K and the 5.5K have aid stations with water along the route. Volunteers will also be stationed to point runners in the correct direction. The 2 Mile walk is stroller friendly and is designated as a non-competitive event. The kids 1 Mile run is for children through 5th grade and takes place before the awards.
Participants who register before June 15 are guaranteed a t-shirt; race day registrants receive t-shirts while supplies last. Prizes are awarded to the top male and female overall, and there are age group awards in the following categories: 11 and under, 12-14, 15-19, then by decade from 20 through 70 and over. Bib pick up is race day morning only. An awards ceremony will follow completion of all races at the pavilion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
