Run With Your Heart Alpena
Run With Your Heart Alpena is a community running event held in Alpena, Michigan at the Northern Lights Arena north parking lot on Woodward Avenue on June 20, 2026. The event features two distances and a course that includes both trail and paved sections.
Registration opens January 25, 2026 and closes June 19, 2026. Standard registration fees listed are $25 for the 5k and $25 for the 1 mile fun run/walk. Participants aged 12 years and under can register for the corresponding events at no cost; this youth entry is sponsored by Run United. Same day registration is offered for an increased fee payable by cash or check.
T-shirts are available by preorder only for $20 with a preorder deadline of May 20. Five dollars from each T-shirt sale is donated to the Children’s Hospital of Michigan pediatric cardiology unit. Preordered shirts will be available for pick up at event check in on race day; shirts can also be shipped for an additional fee.
Awards for the 5k include custom designed medals for the first 20 finishers. Proceeds from the event and donations support the Children’s Hospital of Michigan pediatric cardiology unit.
