Run With Rob 2026
Run With Rob takes place from July 19 to August 1, 2026 and crosses Nova Scotia to raise awareness and funds for congenital cytomegalovirus cCMV and newborn screening.
The 2026 event is presented as 14 ultramarathon stages over 14 days across a single province. The campaign emphasizes universal newborn screening for cCMV, noting that while many provinces screen newborns, the Maritimes do not currently do so.
Previous editions included province spanning runs of significant distance: 506 kilometres across Manitoba in 2023, 548 kilometres through New Brunswick in 2024, and a circuit of Prince Edward Island in 2025. Organizers provide training materials, including 12 week, 8 week, 6 week and 4 week training guides.
