Run Upcote Spring Trail 2026
Run Upcote Spring Trail takes place on 29 March 2026 at Upcote Farm, Withington, Cheltenham, GL54 4BL. The event is a single 5 mile trail race with a limited number of places (303 total). Competitors must be aged 16 years or older on the date of the race. The event is affiliated with England Athletics, licensed by the Trail Running Association, and for 2026 it will be run under UK Athletics rules.
Course and race details
The route is entirely off-road, mostly on private paths, and uses a mix of bridleway and permissive paths. Surfaces include farm road, grass and forest path, with climbs, forest tracks and descents. Race services include chip timing (provided by Lush Timing), medals for all finishers, on-site food and toilets. Prize awards cover the first three overall male and female finishers, first Junior Male and Female under 18, and veteran categories MV40, MV50, MV60, MV70 and FV40, FV50, FV60, FV70. Entry pricing: first 50 places are £15 (£17 unaffiliated); later entries are £16 (£18 unaffiliated).
