Run to the Rock : Marshfield, MA
The Run to the Rock is a multi-distance road race that starts and finishes at Furnace Brook Middle School, 500 Furnace Street, Marshfield, MA. The event offers three distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- half marathon
All registration is online only with tiered pricing windows through early bird, regular, and late registration periods. The shirt deadline is the end of Monday, August 26; shirts not claimed before the race will be distributed at the finish on a first come, first served basis and cannot be mailed. The half marathon has a course time limit of three hours and the minimum age to participate is 13.
On-course support includes water stations located approximately every two miles, with additional water and Gatorade stations on the half marathon. Specific hydration stops are provided for each distance. Restrooms are available at the start and finish and at designated points on the half marathon course. Drinks and snacks are available at the finish line.
Awards are given to the overall top three men and women in each distance. Age-group awards are awarded for the 5K, 10K, and half marathon with defined age categories. Parking for participants and spectators is in the lot behind Furnace Brook Middle School; overflow parking is at the Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield. Proceeds support local Boys & Girls Clubs.
