Run to Rise SAAPM 2027
Run to Rise SAAPM is a community festival featuring a 5K run/walk and a 1 mile walk at the Army Heritage Education Center in Carlisle, PA on April 3, 2027. The event is hosted by the PA National Guard and the US Army War College SHARP Teams, with proceeds benefiting local sexual assault and domestic violence organizations.

The 5K is a chip timed event managed by Timber Hill Timing. Runners must wear a timing chip on their shoe and a bib number on their chest to receive an official time and be eligible for awards. Awards apply to the 5K only and include first overall male and female plus one-place awards in multiple age groups for both men and women.
Entry fee for the 5K is $30. Online registration is scheduled to open on Thursday, October 1 at 12:00 AM. A guaranteed event t-shirt is provided to everyone registered by February 1.
On-site amenities and event features listed by the organizer include prize awards, resource tables from community partners, and a coffee truck where beverages can be purchased. The stated goal of the hosts is to bring military and civilian communities together, raise awareness for Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month, and build a coalition against sexual violence.
