Event overview
Run Through The Decades takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, in Sugar Hill, Georgia. The event features three separate courses tied to musical decades and a half marathon option that combines the three courses. All finishers receive a custom finisher medal. Awards are given for each race: top three overall male and female, top three overall Masters (40+), Grand Master (50+), Senior Master (60+), and top three in five-year age groups starting at 10 & under up to 75+. Virtual entries are available for each distance.
Race details, location and policies
The in-person venue is Sugar Hill Distillery, 1166 Church St, Sugar Hill, GA 30518, on the Greenway. Distances offered include:
- 6K - themed for the 1960s
- 7K - themed for the 1970s
- 8K - themed for the 1980s
- Half Marathon - completed by running all three courses
Virtual options mirror the in-person distances; virtual packages are shipped to continental US addresses and virtual times may be submitted through the event site by the end of Race Day.
Water stations will be provided approximately every 1.5 miles. Packet pickup occurs on race morning starting one hour before the start. Registration is offered in preview, early bird, regular, late, and race day windows; prices vary by distance and period and a shirt is guaranteed for registrations completed by April 8. All registrations are final - there are no refunds, deferments, or transfers. The 2026 charity partner is the Georgia Alliance Against Breast Cancer.
