The half marathon course is chip-timed and consists primarily of paved, flat surfaces. A portion of the route, approximately half a mile, takes place directly on the vineyard property. The course includes a 10K split and is monitored by police on the roadways. Hydration and aid stations are positioned roughly every two miles, and portable toilets are available near miles two and 11. Participants must complete the course within a 3.5-hour time limit.
Amenities and Logistics
The race atmosphere includes music and cheer stations at various locations along the route. For those participating with families, strollers are permitted on the course. Participants receive free downloadable race photos and several souvenir items, including a long-sleeve garment, a commemorative wine glass, and a finisher medal.
Post-race activities take place at the winery and include a glass of wine for finishers, live music from a band, and food truck options.
