The 4th annual St. Paddy’s race "Run the Rainbow" takes place on March 21, 2026 in Jackson, Mississippi. The event benefits Children’s of Mississippi, the state’s only children’s hospital. Course routes run through downtown Jackson, Belhaven, Eastover, and the University of Mississippi Medical Center campus, with the 5K beginning and ending at Hal & Mal’s in downtown Jackson. The Kathy and Joe Sanderson Tower at Children’s of Mississippi is visible along some routes. Online registration closes March 19, 2026, and registration by March 2, 2026 is required to be guaranteed a shirt. The Race Roster listing shows 383 participants registered.

The registration fee includes a race T-shirt, admission to an after-party at Hal & Mal’s, live music, and a drink ticket. All finishers receive finisher medals. Overall trophies will be awarded in overall, masters, grand masters, great grand masters, and age-group categories.
