Run the Rainbow for Children's

The 4th annual Run the Rainbow is a St. Paddy’s race scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2026. It supports Children’s of Mississippi, the state's only children's hospital.

The event features multiple running routes:

• 5K: Begins and ends at Hal & Mal’s in downtown Jackson.
• 10K, half marathon, and full marathon: Routes pass through downtown Jackson, Belhaven, Eastover, and the University of Mississippi Medical Center campus, including the Kathy and Joe Sanderson Tower at Children’s of Mississippi.

Registration includes a race T-shirt, admission to a St. Paddy’s after-party at Hal & Mal’s with live music, and a drink ticket. All registration fees and event proceeds benefit Children’s of Mississippi.

Participants receive finisher medals. Awards are given for overall winners, masters, grand masters, great grand masters, and age groups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
