RUN the RAILS in BUFORD is scheduled for May 16, 2026, and takes place at the Amphitheatre in Downtown Buford (395 East Main Street, Buford, GA 30518). The event offers multiple participation options and supports the Buford Athletic Club.

The race is listed as an AJC Peachtree Road Race qualifier. T-shirts are guaranteed for all pre-registered participants and will be distributed to registrants on race day while supplies last. Pre-race packet pickup is available at Big Peach Running Co. - Braselton (Flowery Branch) on Thursday, May 15 from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Friday, May 16 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, and at Buford High School on Friday, May 16 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Awards are given for the 10K and 5K to 1st overall male and female and masters male and female, plus 1st through 3rd in each age group category. Free parking is available in the Moreno Street parking garage; participants are advised not to park along the course route and to consider carpooling to reduce congestion.
