Run the Monon (Indy Runners and Walkers)
Run the Monon is a group long run and walk in Indianapolis organized by Indy Runners and Walkers. This edition follows the Sheridan and Carmel sections of the Monon Trail and finishes at Marott Park in Broad Ripple. The event is untimed and is not conducted as a race; there are no traffic closures.
Buses transport participants from the Marott Park parking area at Park Tudor School to the start locations: Biddle Memorial Park in Sheridan for the 20 mile course and the Lowe's at 146th Street in Carmel for the 12 mile course. The event price includes bus transportation to the start and a boxed lunch at the finish. A lunch only option is available.
Restroom facilities are provided with portable restrooms at Marott Park and public restrooms at Biddle Park and the Lowe's location. There may be a detour near 146th Street due to construction. Parking is available in the Park Tudor School lot across College Avenue.

Registration opens July 12, 2026. Early pricing applies through October 13, 2026 with higher fees after October 14. Early fees: members $20, non members $30. Later fees: members $25, non members $35. Lunch only is $10. Club members and local club participants may be eligible for discounts after membership validation. Volunteers are requested to help with water stops and receive lunch.
