Run the Monon
Run the Monon is a group long run and picnic hosted by Indy Runners and Walkers along the Monon corridor. The event is untimed and not a race; there are no traffic restrictions in place and the activity is organized as a social training run and walk.
Participants meet at Marott Park in Broad Ripple, with parking available in the Park Tudor School lot across College Avenue. Buses provide transportation from the parking lot to the starting points for each distance. Finishes return to Marott Park, where boxed lunches are provided for participants and volunteers. A lunch only option is available.
Costs are listed for members and non members, and a lower fee is available for members. Volunteers staff water stops along the route and receive lunch. Restroom options include portable units at Marott Park and public restrooms at Biddle Memorial Park and the Lowes location used for the 12 mile start. Note that construction around 146th Street may require a slight detour along the 12 mile route; participants should follow posted detour signs.
