Run Tarra-Bulga 2026
Run Tarra-Bulga 2026 is a trail running event held on April 11, 2026, at Tarra-Bulga National Park Visitor Centre in Balook, South Gippsland. The park lies on Brataualung Country and is significant to Gunaikurnai Traditional Owners for its Aboriginal cultural heritage.
The course runs through cool temperate rainforest featuring giant Mountain Ash, ancient myrtle beeches and lush fern gullies. The route includes passage over Corrigan's Suspension Bridge, which spans the rainforest canopy and overlooks the fern gully below. The race headquarters are within the grounds of the Tarra-Bulga National Park Visitor Centre, and the park is located about two hours east of Melbourne.
Distances on offer:
- 42.3 km - elevation 1810 m; 4 aid stations, 5 water points; 9 hour cut off
- 25.4 km - elevation 1230 m; 2 aid stations, 3 water points; 7.5 hour cut off
- 6.8 km - elevation 315 m; 0 aid stations, 1 water point; 3 hour cut off
- 2.5 km - elevation 120 m; 0 aid stations, 1 water point; 1.5 hour cut off
