Run, Ride, Roll Past Paralysis 5K
Neuroworx presents an inclusive event at Dr. O. Roi Hardy Park on August 22, 2026, centered on movement and rehabilitation support. The main course is on the Jordan River Trail and uses a loop format that crosses two bridges. The 5K course uses both sides of the trail and includes aid stations at 1.5 miles and 2.5 miles.
Distances offered:
- 10K bike or ski chair two laps of the 5K route
- 5K loop on the Jordan River Trail
- 1 mile out-and-back on the West side of the Jordan River Trail
The event includes categories for hand cycles, recumbent bikes, two wheeled bikes, non or power assisted wheelchairs, runners, walkers, and several youth categories for children under 12 including run, walk, bike or scooter, and wheelchair. The 5K run/walk permits strollers; dogs are not allowed except for service dogs. The 1 mile format is shorter and intended for participants not completing the full 5K.
All registration fees are directed to the REACH Fund. The REACH Fund provides financial assistance for items and services that support therapy and recovery, such as therapy-related equipment, wheelchair repairs or parts, supportive footwear or orthotics, transportation to appointments, and caregiver assistance for exercise and daily mobility.
