Run Off-the-Grid
Run Off-the-Grid takes place on September 26, 2026 at 574 Snake Creek Road, Mattawan, ON, Canada. The course is entirely on trail with no roads or pavement. The base loop is 12.5 km and includes single track, old forest logging roads, rolling hills, steep climbs, rocky technical sections, creek crossings, a mud bog and a gravel pit with a sandy dune descent. Consecutive loops are run in the opposite direction.

- 12.5K single loop
- 25K = 2 x 12.5K
- 50K = 4 x 12.5K
- 50K relay team of 4
Relay teams must have four runners; the team captain registers and pays, then provides access codes for team members.
The event supports local causes: CA$5 from each registration is donated to the Mattawa Food Bank, used shoes are collected for Soles4Souls through a partner, and remaining proceeds are reinvested in Nature's Harmony Ecolodge.
A post race meal is provided by gd2go catering offering a harvest chicken stew or curried lentil soup, fresh buns, pasta salad and leafy green salad; vegan and gluten free options are available. To reduce waste no disposable tableware is provided so participants are asked to bring their own dishes and cutlery. On site accommodations include log cabins, yurts, geodesic domes and glamping options. Camping is available with compost toilets, eco showers, a hot sauna, group fire pits, swimming in the Bay and a play area. Camping fee is CA$20 per person per night and children of race participants are free.
