Event Overview
The Run Like The Wind 5K and 1 Mile Family Walk is a community sports event held in Portland, Texas. Location and Logistics
The event is staged at the TM Clark Elementary back lot, situated at 2004 Billy G Webb Drive. This location is positioned across from the Portland Skatepark. Access to the venue is available via Billy G Webb Drive, as there is no entry permitted from Cedar Drive.
Packet pickup is organized for the day prior to the event at a local insurance office on Memorial Parkway, as well as on the morning of the race at the starting location. The 5k course features chip timing to provide participants with accurate results for the competitive categories and age group awards.
