Event Overview
The Run for Your Lungs is a charity event taking place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Lake Blackshear Resort in Cordele, Georgia. This marks the 15th annual edition of the run. It is organized by its own 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness for lung cancer and helping local individuals affected by the disease.
Distances & Activities
The event features three activity options:
- 5K
- 1 Mile Walk
- Virtual Run
Participant Amenities
Each participant receives a long-sleeve T-shirt and a goody bag. After the run, lunch and beverages are provided, with beer available for participants aged 21 and over.
Packet Pickup
Participants can collect their race packets in advance. Options include: Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
- Thursday, October 30, at Austins Fire Grill on Old Dawson Road in Albany from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
- Friday, October 31, at Cypress Grill from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
- Saturday morning at the event location.
