Run for Wildlife Spring 10k
Run for Wildlife Spring 10k is a running safari held at Yorkshire Wildlife Park on Sunday 25 April 2027. The event is organised by Curly's Athletes in partnership with the Yorkshire Wildlife Park team and takes place in support of the Wildlife Foundation.
The route is a single large loop of the park and surrounding grounds designed to pass as much of the park as possible. The course uses mixed surfaces including roads, park paths, some trail sections and grass; the organisers note that road shoes are suitable. The event is run on a UK Athletics licensed course.
The event follows an animal theme that changes between editions; past 10k themes have included Tapirs, Lions and Rhinos. Runners pass enclosures and areas with animals such as giraffes, baboons, rhinos and tapirs. Park entry is included with the event entry ticket, allowing access to the park after the run.
Tickets for this edition are currently sold out. Tickets previously went on sale on Monday 5 October 2026 and a waiting list was offered. Spectators and junior runners may attend alongside participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
