Run for Wildlife Spring 10k
Run for Wildlife Spring 10k takes place at Yorkshire Wildlife Park on Sunday 25 April 2027. The event is organised by Curly's Athletes in collaboration with the Yorkshire Wildlife Park team and uses Hurst Lane, Auckley, Doncaster DN9 3HQ as its location.
The distance is a single 10 km loop that moves through the park and surrounding grounds. The route uses mixed surfaces: roads, park paths, a short section of trail and some grass. Road running shoes are described as appropriate for the course. The event is run on a UK Athletics licensed course.
Each edition has an animal theme; past themes for the 10k have included Tapirs, Lions and Rhinos. Runners pass sections of the park where animals can be seen, including lions, rhinos, giraffes, baboons and tapirs. Entry tickets include access to the park after the run.
Tickets for this edition are currently sold out and a waiting list is available. The event is presented as open to a range of paces : participants may walk, jog or run : and junior runners and spectators attend on event days. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
