Run for Wildlife Spring 10k
Run for Wildlife Spring 10k is a charity running event at Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster on 25 April 2027. The event has a capacity of 1,700 and a road distance of 10 km. Entry prices are listed at £25.00 to £27.00 and include park entry, with final details to be confirmed. A virtual entry option is available at £13.50; virtual participants receive the same medal and can add a t shirt.
The course is a single large loop of the park and surrounding grounds, routed to take in as much of the park as possible. Surfaces are mixed : roads, park paths, a short trail section and some grass : and road running shoes are suitable. The course is UK Athletics licensed.
The event supports the Wildlife Foundation at Yorkshire Wildlife Park and uses an animal theme for each edition. The 2026 theme featured the African Painted Dog; the 2027 animal is to be revealed. Spectator tickets at a discounted rate will be offered so supporters can join entrants in the park after the run.
Event materials include an athlete information pack and race number listings to assist with number collection. A related shop donates 10 percent of selected item sales to local micro grants aimed at increasing community participation in running.
