Run for Wildlife Spring 10k 2026
Run for Wildlife Spring is a 10 km running safari held on Sunday 26 April 2026 at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park, DN9 3HQ. The event is organised by Curly's Athletes together with the Yorkshire Wildlife Park team and supports the Wildlife Foundation.
The course is one large loop around the park and its grounds, routed to take in as much of the park as possible. The surface is mixed, with sections on roads, park paths, a short trail and grass; organisers note that road running shoes are suitable. The course is UK Athletics licensed, so performances can be recorded for personal bests.
Previous events have used different animal themes, with past themes including Tapirs, Lions, Rhinos and Okapi. Entry includes access to the park for the day and the event welcomes spectators and junior runners. Tickets for the 2026 10K entry were listed at £27.00 and are currently sold out.
