Run for the Kids : 13th Annual
Grace-In-Motion hosts the 13th annual Run for the Kids, a community running and fundraising event on October 10, 2026, at Ross Dock in Fort Lee, New Jersey. The event features a certified 5K run and a scenic 2K walk along a towpath by the Hudson River with views of the George Washington Bridge and the New York City skyline.

The 5K course is USATF certified and is timed with disposable chips. The day includes a community fair with local organizations, children's programs offering games and activities, food and drink concessions, and a raffle fundraiser. Registration includes a race bib and a complimentary t-shirt for registrants; early registration prices are listed as $40 for adults and $20 for children ages 4 to 12, with prices increasing after September 30.
Proceeds from the event support Grace-In-Motion's programs. Since 2012 the organization has raised funds to promote education and human dignity in underserved communities, and for this year 100% of Run for the Kids proceeds will go toward building emergency family homes in Panama in partnership with a long-term project partner.
