Run for the Bagel
Run for the Bagel is a community road race organized by the Mattoon Area Family YMCA in Mattoon, Illinois. The event is scheduled for July 18, 2026, and is based at 221 N. 16th Street, Mattoon, IL 61938. Distances offered include a 5K run/walk, a 10K, a 1 Mile Fun Run, and a virtual option.

If a participant picks up a packet prior to race day, they can go directly to the starting line at the KC Summers Toyota building at 19th and Broadway on race day. Online registration closes before the event and in-person registration is available on race morning for those registering at the venue.
