About the race
Run For Sobriety Association holds a community running event in Langley, British Columbia, on Sunday, October 4 at Noel Booth Elementary School (20202 35 Ave). The event offers two race distances:
- 5 km
- 10 km
Package pickup is available at New Balance Langley (19950 Willowbrook Dr #1) on Friday, October 2 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Saturday, October 3 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. There is also a race morning pickup window at Noel Booth Elementary. Participants may ask someone else to collect their package before race day. There is no gear check at the event.
The course is organized as loops: one loop equals 5 km and two loops equal 10 km. After the races there is a post-race celebration with a complimentary barbecue sponsored by South Point Real Estate Team, live music, draw prizes, and awards. Vendors and community partners on site include Asher Wellness, New Balance Langley, Sugar Fever Bakery (offering a free finisher cookie), Last Door Recovery Society, Back on Track Recovery Society, Together We Can, Pure Form Physio, Canadian Mental Health Association BC, Lululemon (hosting the water station), and Sportstats Timing.
