20th Annual Run for Riley 5 Mile & 5K
The 20th Annual Run for Riley takes place on October 4, 2026 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with event activities centered at Maple Creek Middle School, 425 Union Chapel Rd. The event supports the Riley foundation through fundraising activities connected to the race.

- 5K run and walk
Both events begin at Maple Creek Middle School and follow the paved trails of the Fort Wayne Greenway. The course splits so 5 Mile participants follow one route and 5K participants follow another route; all participants finish on the school track.
Packet pick up is scheduled the day before at Fleet Feet North Store on Dupont Road and on race day in the school cafeteria. Registration opens on 2025-12-20 and closes on 2026-05-01; the listed registration fee is $25.00 for each event.
A silent auction is held in conjunction with the event, with all proceeds directed to the Riley foundation. Awards for the 5 Mile race and post-race refreshments are provided in the school cafeteria, and the event includes an announcement of the total donation to Riley Hospital following the race.
